Tiny character design project, done during Concept art and Storyboarding course. I didn't expect it to be anything more than a university assignment, but it has been following me since in form of doodles and cameos. The character of Jelon (creative spelling of "deer" in Polish) is a mischievous woodland creature, small in statue and big in attitude.
Like most engaged with popculture today I enjoy a wide range of merch and gadgets. I also have a long-standing interest in BJDs and maintain a small collection. This one was my first custom project. Although a bit creepy I find it to be a good summary of many things I gravitate towards as an artist.
Game miniature made under 48 hours as an entry for GMTK Game Jam with a theme "Roll of the Dice." It can still be played on itch.io.
Together with my husband Filip (Game Systems Designer) we organized a local Hearthstone-themed meetup, where our friends could join and play Hearthstone in a form of a real-life TCG in a Cube format made popular by MTG players. Filip translated the computer-only mechanics into traditional card play and I prepared the decks and tokens. The event was free, organized for the love of the game and community and we did not profit from it. We also don't distribute any files related to this project. It was just a fun exercise of bringing a digital game into a physical world.
